SOUTHPORT GUIDE Independent ideas for your day out

A booked indoor water-park session / SOUTHPORT

Splash World, Southport

Choose a water-park session for slides, water play and time in the pools, allowing for changing as well as the booked swim. It is a distinct family outing rather than a quick stop during a promenade walk. Check which features fit the ages and swimming abilities in your group before paying.

Before you go

The normal published pattern is weekends, with weekdays during Sefton school holidays. The leisure centre’s gym or lane-pool hours are not the Splash World timetable.

The practical details

Where to find it
The Esplanade, Southport PR8 1RX
Directions and arrival information ↗
Tickets and booking
Paid timed admission, booked through the operator. Standard sessions are 1½ hours; special passes or quieter sessions have separate availability. Check current booking slots, slide restrictions, changing time and spectator arrangements.
Access and getting around
Discuss pool entry, changing and any mobility or sensory requirements directly before booking. The operator’s booking page describes disability/carer ticket arrangements but that alone is not a guarantee that every slide or water feature is suitable.
Official access information ↗
Visiting with children
Read the full adult-supervision policy and ride restrictions for the group’s ages and swimming abilities. Bring suitable flotation aids if needed; the operator says these are not loaned. Do not assume a spectator can replace the required in-water adult.

Practical information checked 15 September 2026. Confirm anything essential to your visit with the venue.

Make it part of your day

Allow 1½-hour standard session, plus changing for the visit, plus travel and breaks. This is a suggested planning allowance; opening times, access and availability may affect your plans.
