Minster, lunch and a town walk →
A relaxed first visit that keeps the main stops in central Southwell.
Market streets and stories beyond the Minster / SOUTHWELL
Take the council’s town trail as a reason to slow down around Southwell’s streets. The route puts familiar-looking buildings into context and makes a useful partner to the Minster, showing more of the settlement around the cathedral. Browse a little, look up at the architecture and leave room for a café stop rather than trying to make this an endurance walk.

Use the current trail map and read parking signs on arrival. A self-guided street walk does not include admission to the interiors of private buildings or businesses.
