- Book the actual tour slot and read the restrictions for every participant. Tours can be affected by minimum attendance. No alcohol before the lighthouse visit; arrange any brewery or distillery tasting afterwards. The walk from the tour centre is part of the guided outing.
- Access and getting around
- There are 113 steps including a steep ladder section, no lift, and participants must climb and descend unaided. The operator says it is unsuitable for restricted mobility and lists further health restrictions. Fully enclosed, flat-soled footwear is required; read the complete visitor conditions before booking.

- Children must be at least seven years old and at least 1.1 metres tall, with no more than two children per responsible adult. They must manage the stairs unaided; babies and children cannot be carried, including in carriers.
