Stamford Arts Centre gallery
Add a short look at the current exhibition to a walk through St Mary’s Street. The gallery brings contemporary art into a historic arts venue and offers a different subject from Stamford’s old buildings. A film, live show or workshop can turn it into a longer visit, but those are separate programme choices rather than part of free gallery entry.

Check the exhibition dates and gallery opening, not just the box-office hours. Changeovers can interrupt displays, and a programme entry may be at another venue in the district rather than in Stamford.

- Gallery browsing is free during exhibition opening. Performances, films, classes and refreshments are separate costs. Confirm the current exhibition and opening page before making a special journey.
- Access and getting around
- The gallery and other main daytime spaces are on the ground floor with a ramped entrance. Theatre access uses a platform lift and wheelchair spaces need arranging. For classes in upstairs rooms or specific equipment, contact the box office.

- Choose a few artworks to discuss, or book a suitable family performance from the actual calendar. Check age guidance, running time and access for that event; a free gallery visit does not include a workshop.
