Tickets and booking: General entry is free, with donations welcome. The stated season runs April to the end of October, normally Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with Sunday opening too; contact the museum for off-season visits.
Access and getting around: The museum’s own website confirms wheelchair access. Public toilets are nearby rather than inside the museum. The separately located Swanage History Centre has different access arrangements; it is not this visitor museum.
