Tudor Merchant’s House
Step inside a compact merchant’s home arranged to show life around 1500, with a trading area, kitchen and furnished rooms above. The reproductions make it easier to picture the family whose business depended on Tenby’s port. This is a small, focused visit that works well alongside a harbour walk, not an all-afternoon house-and-garden estate.
Use the National Trust’s date-specific calendar before heading down Quay Hill. The entrance has steps and upper rooms require stairs; take a toilet break beforehand because there is no visitor toilet in the house.

- The linked AccessAble survey records a steep approach and three unmarked entrance steps without handrails. Upper floors are reached by stairs. Uneven floors and low lighting are noted; ask staff about adapted interpretation if parts of the house are inaccessible.
