The Clock and Bedwellty →
A compact first visit linking the town centre with its historic public park.
A short walk through the town’s civic history / TREDEGAR
Start at The Circle to understand the shape of Tredegar’s historic centre. The iron Town Clock is the obvious landmark, while the surrounding streets connect the town’s industrial past with its civic and healthcare story. Make this a short, attentive walk that can lead naturally towards Bedwellty Park rather than a long list of buildings to tick off.

The clock is normally viewed from outside. Occasional Open Doors access is an event arrangement, not a promise that visitors can climb it on an ordinary day.

Allow 30–60 minutes for the visit, plus travel and breaks. This is a suggested planning allowance; opening times, access and availability may affect your plans.
