Choose Ventnor Park for flowers, a streamside wander and a bench away from the busier seafront. It can be the gentle middle of a day, especially when you want fresh air without another long walk. Enjoy the planting and quiet corners rather than assuming every visit comes with a bandstand performance or activity.

Use the Park Avenue approach if steps are a problem; the coastal rear-gate connection includes steps. The nearby putting green and kiosk have their own availability and charges.

Access and getting around: The council describes wide tarmac paths for pedestrians, wheelchairs and buggies. The approach matters: the coastal connection is stepped, so choose the appropriate entrance for your group.
