Warwickshire objects and local stories / WARWICK
Start with one or two objects that catch your eye rather than trying to absorb the whole county’s history at once. The museum occupies the market hall in the middle of town, making it a useful introduction before you look at Warwick’s streets. It is also a manageable indoor stop when a longer outdoor plan needs shortening.

The regular museum week excludes Sunday and Monday. Check the current calendar before relying on it for a free rainy-day visit.
Practical information checked 15 September 2026. Confirm anything essential to your visit with the venue.
Allow 45–90 minutes for the visit, plus travel and breaks. This is a suggested planning allowance; opening times, access and availability may affect your plans.
