Tickets and booking: Seal trips should be booked ahead; bay trips may be available on the day. Sailing depends on weather and tides and can be cancelled close to departure. Rain alone does not necessarily cancel a trip. Check the operator’s current schedule.
Access and getting around: Boarding involves a sloping gangway and two or three steps; the operator cannot accommodate wheelchairs. Discuss individual boarding needs before paying. The open deck has no sheltered cabin for passengers.

Visiting with children: Lifejackets are supplied and children under ten must wear them. Ask about current child fares; the short bay trip may suit limited attention spans better than the seal outing.
