Bellevue Park
Use Bellevue as a proper pause from the city streets. Follow surfaced paths through the formal landscape, find the sensory garden or leave time for children’s play without having to make a whole-day countryside trip. The bandstand is a feature to enjoy at any quiet visit; a concert is an additional event to check rather than a daily promise.

Parking is limited. If you are already exploring the centre, consider a suitable walking route instead of expecting a large visitor car park beside every entrance.

- Ordinary park visits are free. Gates have shorter winter hours, and the park closes on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. Court bookings, refreshments and special activities are separate.
- Access and getting around
- The council describes well-surfaced paths and accessible parking spaces by the community centre on the Bellevue Road side. There are slopes and a small viewpoint hill, so choose the route that suits your mobility and check toilet availability.

- Separate toddler and junior play provision makes a useful focus. Keep a snack and shorter route in reserve, and check any booked sports activity rather than assuming all courts are freely available.
