On Penglais campus, the Arts Centre combines a cinema and performance programme with galleries that reward a slower look. Choose a film or show as the anchor, or explore the current visual arts displays before a café stop. It pairs naturally with the National Library, while leaving the seafront for another part of the day.

Building, galleries, box office and café have different hours. A late-opening venue does not mean every exhibition remains open until the evening show.

Tickets and booking: Films, shows and workshops require their own booking. The Ceramic Gallery has free general entry; check display changeovers and other exhibitions before visiting. Daytime visitor parking is charged; the venue lists free customer parking after 5pm and at weekends. Allow time for the uphill journey from town.
Access and getting around: Ground-level access reaches the main foyer; lifts and a stair lift serve other levels. Wheelchair positions are available in performance spaces, with cinema back-row places reserved in advance. Accessible toilets are on all levels except the lower foyer; discuss the exact venue when booking.

Visiting with children: Choose films and performances by their actual age guidance. Relaxed, subtitled and audio-described screenings are identified in the programme, not available at every session. Hynt cardholders can arrange a qualifying personal-assistant ticket.
