Tour dates are normally released only a month ahead. No listed future slot does not necessarily mean sold out; check again or ask the team. Short-notice college closures can occur.

Tickets and booking: Advance booking is advised. Guided tours do not run every day; selected summer self-guided dates are a separate format with no guided tours that day. Do not enter student areas independently.
Access and getting around: Numerous uneven stairs, cobbled areas and narrow passages limit access; there are no lifts. Most of the route is unsuitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs. Discuss your needs with the castle team before booking.

Visiting with children: Choose this for children interested in a guided history visit. The Norman Chapel projection has moving images, loud sounds and changing light; visitors may opt out. Ask the team how that works for your group.
