Tickets and booking: Check gallery hours separately from the earlier visitor-centre opening. Sunday museum opening is seasonal. The on-site café is currently closed, so plan refreshments elsewhere.
Access and getting around: The visitor centre has a lift, accessible WC, hearing loop and accessible entrance. Ask staff about the specific historic galleries you wish to see rather than assuming all older floors share that access.
