Falmouth Art Gallery
Spend an hour with the gallery’s changing displays and the works selected from its collection. This compact civic gallery offers a different pace from the maritime museum: take time with a few pictures, talk about what catches your eye and try a sketch. A famous work in the collection may not be on display when you visit.
Check the current exhibition and opening hours before setting out. The gallery has no café, so plan a meal or drink around The Moor afterwards.

- Ordinary entry is free. The council’s current visit page lists Monday–Saturday 10am–5pm as winter hours, closed Sundays and bank holidays; confirm the hours for your date because other local listings differ. Special workshops may require booking.
- Access and getting around
- The main entrance involves steps and stairs. A lift is on the right-hand side of the building, with a further entrance from Webber Hill at gallery level. Accessible toilets, baby changing and large-print guides are available. Contact staff about the most suitable entrance and current lift availability.

- Use the doodle table or choose a few pictures to discuss together. Family workshops have their own dates and booking arrangements; ordinary gallery entry does not promise a workshop. Staff can advise on quieter visits and lend a folding chair.
