Access and getting around: Paths connect the planted areas near the beach approach. Check the entrance and surface that suit you, particularly after rain; the onward streets towards the harbour include gradients. Beachside facilities are separate from the garden and should be checked if essential.

Visiting with children: Look for contrasting leaf shapes and keep to paths around the beds. This is a small planted garden rather than an equipped playground. It offers a quieter change of pace after sand play, with dogs required to stay on leads.
