Chatelherault grounds and a Town House evening →
An outdoor visit in Ferniegair followed by a planned return to the town for a performance.
A hunting lodge, woodland and the Avon valley / NEAR HAMILTON
Make a separate trip to Ferniegair for the country park, choosing between the lodge area, play and a longer woodland route. The hunting lodge gives the landscape a striking focal point, while paths reach into a much larger valley setting. Pick the route for its terrain and available time rather than treating every trail as an extension of the formal grounds.

The visitor centre and lodge have different opening patterns. The lodge is currently listed Sunday–Thursday, so do not promise interior access on every park visit.
Practical information checked 16 September 2026. Confirm anything essential to your visit with the venue.
Allow 1–3 hours for the visit, plus travel and breaks. This is a suggested planning allowance; opening times, access and availability may affect your plans.
