Visit after lunch: the current 2026 season runs in the afternoons until 1 November. There are no refreshments inside, so eat first or plan a café afterwards.

Tickets and booking: The operator currently lists ordinary 1–4pm opening through 1 November 2026, with exceptions for events. Adult admission is paid; check concessions and the car-free discount. Groups need advance arrangements. Do not use a group winter booking as evidence of ordinary winter opening.
Access and getting around: Expect uneven floors, changes of level, low beams and narrow stairs. Wheelchair access is difficult and limited access may be possible for small or folding chairs by discussion. A downstairs screen can show some upstairs areas; contact the museum about your needs.
