Loughshore woodland and castle ruins / NEAR LISNASKEA
Make a separate trip to the National Trust’s Crom estate for woodland, views across Upper Lough Erne and the old castle ruins. The appeal is the landscape and its wildlife, with routes that can be shortened or extended without treating every island or path as a compulsory target.

This visit is to the estate and old ruins. Do not assume admission includes a tour of the modern private Crom Castle.
Practical information checked 16 September 2026. Confirm anything essential to your visit with the venue.
Allow 2–3 hours, plus travel from lisnaskea for the visit, plus travel and breaks. This is a suggested planning allowance; opening times, access and availability may affect your plans.
