Langmoor and Lister Gardens
Take a break among planted slopes, benches and paths overlooking the seafront. These gardens work particularly well between a museum visit and lunch, or as a shorter alternative to another attraction. The woodland area and changing planting give variety, while the bay remains the main reason to sit for a while.
Choose your path around the slope rather than treating every garden entrance as equivalent. The promenade below is an alternative when the climb would turn a rest stop into a tiring detour.

- The gardens have winding paths and a hillside position, with benches for rests. Ask the town council about a suitable approach if you need to avoid steps or steeper sections; this stop does not require completing every woodland and garden path.
