The free museum is separate from the paid Air Station Museum. Their locations, subjects and opening days differ, so check the right venue before setting out.

Tickets and booking: Admission is free. Summer opening is Wednesday–Monday, with Tuesdays closed; winter opening reduces to Friday–Monday. Last admission is 30 minutes before closing. Check public-holiday arrangements and the current exhibition.
Access and getting around: There is a ramped entrance and a lift to the mezzanine, but the Natural History Gallery is reached only by stairs. Accessible toilets, parking and hearing support are listed; discuss the galleries you want to see if level access matters.
