A local view of life along the coast / NORTH BERWICK
Spend time with the objects and stories that explain North Berwick and its neighbouring coastal communities. This volunteer-run museum gives a different perspective from the beach, with displays covering everyday lives, local industries and the changing area. Its scale makes it a useful short visit, especially when you want context before a walk through town.

The museum has seasonal Wednesday–Saturday opening. Check its calendar rather than assuming a seaside museum will be open every weekend day.
Practical information checked 15 September 2026. Confirm anything essential to your visit with the venue.
Allow 45–90 minutes for the visit, plus travel and breaks. This is a suggested planning allowance; opening times, access and availability may affect your plans.
