Look at the current exhibition list before visiting for a particular show. The museum is near the theatres and 78 Derngate, but leaving time for lunch makes a two-venue day more enjoyable.

Tickets and booking: General admission is free. Check Tuesday–Sunday and selected bank-holiday opening; there is no onsite parking, and nearby spaces have their own restrictions.
Access and getting around: The Guildhall Road entrance has level access and automatic doors, with lifts serving all floors. Accessible toilets, seating and hearing support are available; ask reception for the current museum plan.
