National Lobster Hatchery
See lobsters at different stages of life and discover how the hatchery supports the local marine environment. The visitor centre puts the fishing boats outside into a different context: this is a working conservation charity with exhibits about animals and their survival, rather than a large aquarium that fills a whole day.
The stairlift is currently out of service, with no wheelchair access upstairs. Contact the hatchery before visiting if that affects your party; the operator offers a reduced admission for wheelchair users unable to see the whole centre.
