A park-led family visit →
Build a flexible outing around outdoor play, with swimming only on a separately confirmed seasonal booking.
Anthem heritage and room to play / PONTYPRIDD
Make the park a breathing space in a town day: follow tree-lined paths, look for the anthem memorial and leave time for outdoor play. The garden and bandstand setting rewards a slower visit, while the Lido Play playground gives children a clear destination. Swimming next door is a separate seasonal activity with its own tickets.

Free access to the park and playground does not mean free access to the poolside area. Keep the park visit useful even when the Lido has no suitable sessions.
Practical information checked 15 September 2026. Confirm anything essential to your visit with the venue.
Allow 1–2 hours for the visit, plus travel and breaks. This is a suggested planning allowance; opening times, access and availability may affect your plans.
