RICHMOND, NORTH YORKSHIRE GUIDE Independent ideas for your day out

Art in a former railway building / RICHMOND, NORTH YORKSHIRE

The Station

Look around changing art displays in Richmond’s restored Victorian railway terminus, now a place for exhibitions, food and cinema. The old platform and roof structure are part of the attraction, with contemporary work shown around the building. A gallery visit can be brief, while lunch or a separately booked film turns it into a longer stop.

Before you go

The Station is a cultural venue, not an operating railway station. It lies downhill from the centre across Mercury Bridge, so allow for the climb back or check local transport.
