Village life and the wartime Shetland Bus / SCALLOWAY
Explore the story of Scalloway through local lives, working industries and its wartime connections with Norway. The Shetland Bus displays explain a maritime resistance operation, rather than a road-bus service, and give the nearby waterfront memorial deeper meaning. The volunteer-run museum stands beside the castle, but museum admission should not be confused with access to the closed castle itself.
