Tickets and booking: Book ahead for the intended date; this admission is separate from Tate St Ives. Opening patterns vary, including shorter Saturday hours at the research check, so verify the last entry rather than assuming an evening visit.
Access and getting around: Steps and uneven surfaces restrict access. Manual-wheelchair visits require a prior appointment; mobility scooters are not permitted. The lower museum floor is not wheelchair accessible. Arrange a loan wheelchair at least 24 hours ahead and discuss buggy access.

Visiting with children: Under-19s can enter free with a ticket, but small spaces and the garden need a slower, supervised visit. Do not treat sculpture as play equipment. Tate is the more straightforward choice when pushchair access is a priority.
