Lewis Sports Centre

Choose a public swimming session at Ionad Spòrs Leòdhais for an active indoor break. The centre’s pool has different arrangements for open swimming, lanes, lessons and fun sessions, so the right timetable matters. It is a useful change from sightseeing when you want to move, but it is not an all-day water park with every feature continuously available.

Tickets and booking: Public swimming is paid, with current pay-as-you-go and visitor arrangements listed by the council. Confirm session times, any booking requirements and current notices. Special fun sessions and other facilities may have separate conditions.
Access and getting around: Contact the centre about changing facilities, pool entry and any individual support needs before travelling. Session arrangements differ, and a moving pool floor does not establish the accessibility of every activity.

Visiting with children: Children under eight must be accompanied by an adult; confirm the full supervision requirements for your group. Choose an open or suitable fun session, checking the shallow children’s pool and any slide availability rather than arriving during lessons or a lane-only period.
