Town stories along a public art walk / STORNOWAY
Follow a chosen part of the free sculpture trail through Stornoway’s town and harbour streets. Public artworks give the walk a focus beyond watching boats, with references to the islands’ people, wildlife and traditions. Use the official leaflet to select a manageable route rather than assuming every point is in one compact waterfront line.

Stay on public streets and paths: this is a working harbour, and operational quays are not general sightseeing routes.
Practical information checked 15 September 2026. Confirm anything essential to your visit with the venue.
Allow 45–90 minutes for a selected route for the visit, plus travel and breaks. This is a suggested planning allowance; opening times, access and availability may affect your plans.
