UPPINGHAM GUIDE Independent ideas for your day out

Art, printmaking and studio pottery / UPPINGHAM

Goldmark Gallery, Uppingham

Explore a commercial gallery where paintings, prints, sculpture and pots sit at the heart of Uppingham’s art scene. Choose a medium you enjoy and ask what is currently on view. This is a browsing visit with work for sale, not a museum promising the same permanent display every day.

Before you go

Call ahead if a particular artist or piece is the reason for your trip: some stock is kept away from the public gallery rooms.

The practical details

Where to find it
14 Orange Street, Uppingham LE15 9SQ
Directions and arrival information ↗
Tickets and booking
Ordinary gallery browsing does not require an attraction ticket. Published Monday–Saturday 9.30am–5.30pm, Sunday and bank holidays 11am–4pm; check special exhibition arrangements.
Access and getting around
Ask the gallery about entrance steps, floor access and the location of a particular display before travel if step-free access is essential. Stockrooms and upper areas should not be assumed accessible.
Official access information ↗
Visiting with children
A short adult-led look at shapes and colours can work well. This is a working commercial gallery with fragile objects, not a hands-on play venue.

Practical information checked 15 September 2026. Confirm anything essential to your visit with the venue.

Make it part of your day

Allow 45–75 minutes for the visit, plus travel and breaks. This is a suggested planning allowance; opening times, access and availability may affect your plans.
