Explore a walk-through world of Beatrix Potter’s characters, with recreated scenes, interactive interpretation and the Peter Rabbit Garden. This Bowness attraction suits a focused hour of storytelling and recognition, rather than a whole-day theme park visit. It is separate from Potter’s former home at Hill Top across the lake.

- Normally open daily 10am–4.30pm. Closed Christmas Day, with shorter holiday hours and planned maintenance closure 11–31 January 2027, reopening scheduled for 1 February. Check the current calendar before travel. Carer arrangements require evidence and are described separately by the operator.
- Access and getting around
- Both approaches are steep: up from Rayrigg Road or down the Crag Brow ramp, approximately 1:6. The main attraction has level access inside, with a lift to the lower-floor toilets. Part of the terraced garden has steps. Lighting varies between scenes; read the illustrated access guide and contact staff about support needs.

- Read or revisit a favourite story before arriving, then let children look for its characters. Allow around an hour inside and more time if adding food or shopping. Pushchairs can be accommodated, but the steep approach may need help. Check child ticket categories and event ages when booking.
