BLACKPOOL GUIDE Independent ideas for your day out

Swimming & water slides / BLACKPOOL

Sandcastle Waterpark

Sandcastle makes an active indoor outing on South Beach, with swimming and slides replacing the usual seafront walk. It works best when everyone in the party wants the pool experience and the adults can meet the supervision rules. This is a booked session rather than a casual dip between attractions, and the operating calendar includes closed days. Leave space afterwards for changing, food and a slower journey back.

Before you go

Check supervision ratios against the children’s ages and swimming ability before buying. There is no poolside spectator area: an adult who wants to watch from the side cannot assume a free or dry spectator visit.
