The Blackpool Tower Top
The viewing attraction inside Blackpool’s most recognisable landmark gives the coastline a different scale: the piers and long strip of promenade become a map beneath you. There is a glass SkyWalk and a 4D introduction, so choose this for the height experience as well as the view. Visibility and wind matter more than the temperature at street level; a cloudy, blustery afternoon is a poor time to make this your only booked highlight.
Leave a gap after your visit for lunch or the promenade. If the Top cannot operate, Showtown nearby makes a sensible change of plan, subject to its own admission availability; it is not included in a Top ticket.

- Book the named Top attraction and check the operating calendar and weather notice on the day. Tower attractions have separate ticket options; do not assume the Ballroom is included.
- Access and getting around
- Check the Tower’s wheelchair dimensions and lift arrangements before booking. Mobility scooters cannot enter the attractions. The 4D experience includes strong sensory effects; ask staff about bypassing it.

- Talk through the glass floor before booking for a child uneasy with heights. Pushchairs cannot go up to the Top; use the designated buggy arrangements.
