The curved building gives art room to unfold, and a visit can be as focused or leisurely as your interest allows. Films and organised activities are separate choices rather than an assumed part of gallery entry.

Before you go

Exhibitions are free; cinema and some events need tickets. Firstsite is normally closed Mondays, and late building hours do not guarantee every gallery remains open.

Access and getting around: Check the venue’s access and facilities information for the route and support you need. Accessible parking uses the Queen Street approach, not the bollarded Lewis Gardens entrance; spaces are limited.
