Beach play with an optional park →
Make Lunderston Bay the main outdoor visit and treat the town park as an optional later stop.
A beach, play area and coastal pause / NEAR GOUROCK
Follow the coast beyond central Gourock for a sandy bay with a play area, picnic space and room to watch the changing water. Beach time and a short coastal stroll work well together, but you can keep the visit entirely around the main facilities. The appeal is an unhurried outdoor break rather than a timetable of attractions.

Lunderston Bay is a separate trip along Cloch Road. Arrange the outward and return journey; do not mistake it for the beach immediately beside Gourock station.
Practical information checked 15 September 2026. Confirm anything essential to your visit with the venue.
Allow 1.5–3 hours for the visit, plus travel and breaks. This is a suggested planning allowance; opening times, access and availability may affect your plans.
