GREENOCK GUIDE Independent ideas for your day out

A performance at the waterfront / GREENOCK

Beacon Arts Centre

Choose a play, concert, comedy show or family performance from the Beacon’s current programme. The waterfront setting gives the evening a sense of place, but the event is the reason to come. Build the rest of the day around the actual start and finish rather than assuming a performance is available whenever you arrive.

The practical details

Where to find it
Custom House Quay, Greenock PA15 1HJ
Directions and arrival information ↗
Tickets and booking
Tickets and times depend on the performance. Arrange accessible seating before booking where needed; selected relaxed or adapted events should not be assumed to apply to every show.
Access and getting around
There is a ramped entrance, a foyer lift to the first floor and accessible toilets. Wheelchair spaces and hearing support should be arranged with the box office. Companion-ticket arrangements have their own eligibility process.
Official access information ↗
Visiting with children
The programme includes selected family events, but many performances are intended for adults. Choose by age guidance and running time, allowing time for food before a late finish.

Practical information checked 15 September 2026. Confirm anything essential to your visit with the venue.

Make it part of your day

Allow performance length plus arrival time for the visit, plus travel and breaks. This is a suggested planning allowance; opening times, access and availability may affect your plans.
