GREENOCK GUIDE Independent ideas for your day out

Swimming or skating on your own timetable / GREENOCK

Waterfront Leisure Complex

Choose a public swim or ice-skating session for an active indoor break. The complex has different facilities and timetables, so choose the session first rather than arriving on the strength of the building’s general opening hours. Leisure-pool features and special events may have more limited availability than ordinary lane swimming.

The practical details

Where to find it
8 Custom House Way, Greenock PA15 1EW
Directions and arrival information ↗
Tickets and booking
Ordinary public sessions have their own paid admission and timetables. The operator currently says standard public sessions do not need advance booking, while special events are better reserved; confirm before travel. Skate hire and aids may cost extra.
Access and getting around
Accessible parking is listed. Ask the centre directly about changing arrangements, pool entry or skating support for your requirements; do not assume every activity has the same access provision.
Official access information ↗
Visiting with children
Check age and adult-supervision rules for your group before travelling. Bring the right swimming or skating clothing, and check whether the leisure pool, slides or family session will be operating at the intended time.

Practical information checked 15 September 2026. Confirm anything essential to your visit with the venue.

Make it part of your day

Allow 1–2 hours for a chosen session for the visit, plus travel and breaks. This is a suggested planning allowance; opening times, access and availability may affect your plans.
