LIMAVADY GUIDE Independent ideas for your day out

Wide sands and coastal views / NEAR LIMAVADY

Benone Strand

Take a separate coastal trip from Limavady for a beach walk, time on the sand or views across towards Donegal. Benone’s long shoreline lets you choose a short outing without walking its full length, with dunes and mountain scenery giving the beach its setting.

Before you go

Lifeguard cover is seasonal, including weekends only in September 2026. Check the current RNLI schedule and flags on arrival; an open beach does not mean a patrolled swimming area.
