Blue Reef Aquarium Newquay

Follow the marine displays and ocean tunnel at the aquarium on Towan Promenade. It is a compact indoor visit with the beach immediately outside, making it useful when a family day needs a reliable booked stop. Allow roughly an hour to an hour and a half rather than planning to spend the entire day inside.

Tickets and booking: The FAQ requires a dated day pass for visits from Easter through September. Check the current booking page for your date. Opening is from 10am with seasonal closing; last entry is one hour before closing. No secure luggage storage is provided.
Access and getting around: Ramps and a lift serve the main visitor areas; the nursery tanks are inaccessible. Wheelchairs and mobility scooters are accepted, with an accessible toilet upstairs. Some spaces are dim. Contact reception about drop-off and access: there is no general visitor car park and nearby streets descend to the beach.

Visiting with children: Pushchairs are welcome, but scooters, balance bikes and wheeled shoes are not permitted. Check the dated family ticket total and any proof needed for a free carer place. Plan food and beach time separately from the indoor visit.
