Emigration history and an Omagh evening →
Give the Folk Park the main part of the day, then return to town for an optional performance.
Emigration stories across an open-air museum / NEAR OMAGH
Follow the story of migration from Ulster to North America through historic buildings, reconstructed settings and interpretation. The museum is outside Omagh, with outdoor journeys between its interiors, so it rewards a substantial visit with suitable footwear rather than a quick town-centre stop.

The operator announces America Street closed on 15 and 16 September 2026. Check that notice and the available route before travelling; a museum ticket does not guarantee every historic building is open.
Practical information checked 16 September 2026. Confirm anything essential to your visit with the venue.
Allow allow 3–4 hours for the visit, plus travel and breaks. This is a suggested planning allowance; opening times, access and availability may affect your plans.
