Lurgan Park and a town-centre break →
A flexible outing that stays close to the town and follows the available weather.
A lake, mature trees and space to play / LURGAN
Step away from Lurgan’s town centre into the former Brownlow estate for a lake walk, play or an unhurried pause beneath mature trees. The park supports several different lengths of outing, from the main avenue and fountain to a longer circuit. Brownlow House overlooks the grounds, but visiting its interior is a separate arrangement.

Check the current seasonal gate time before an evening walk. The council’s detailed schedule shortens during September and October, rather than changing only once between summer and winter.
Practical information checked 16 September 2026. Confirm anything essential to your visit with the venue.
Allow 45 minutes–2 hours for the visit, plus travel and breaks. This is a suggested planning allowance; opening times, access and availability may affect your plans.
