Sand, dunes and a flexible coastal walk / NEAR DUNBAR
Choose a section of the broad bay or the park paths west of Dunbar for an outdoor outing that can be as short or substantial as you want. The changing tide is part of the appeal, but it also changes the route. Leave time to turn back comfortably rather than making the far end of the beach an essential destination.

The Bridge to Nowhere can be surrounded by water at high tide. It is not an all-tide crossing: check conditions and use a safe alternative access rather than trying to wade across.
Practical information checked 15 September 2026. Confirm anything essential to your visit with the venue.
Allow 1–3 hours for the visit, plus travel and breaks. This is a suggested planning allowance; opening times, access and availability may affect your plans.
